Are you AWESOME!? We are looking for a outgoing Leasing Consultant to undertake the leasing activities part time through our spring and summer turn. The successful candidate will effectively explore the market to identify opportunities and secure tenants while creating dynamic rapport with each prospect.

Responsibilities

• Promote unoccupied properties through various media and advertising techniques
• Provide accurate information on the different features of properties
• Validate application information and references
• Negotiate leasing terms and complete agreements
• Update the market survey
• Ensure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically
• Show prospective residents the models and units available for rent.
• Take applications for rental, accept rental deposits, and process applications for the approval procedure.
• Answer telephone and Internet inquiries providing information in response to rental inquiries. Make follow-up calls and e-mail responses as necessary.
• Assist in the lease renewal process performing duties as assigned by the Property Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Open and secure models and "show" apartments daily. Help maintain the rental office, models and show apartments at all times.
• Walk the property daily to inspect rent ready apartments and the general condition of the community

Skills

• Proven working experience as a leasing consultant
• Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations
• Proven track record of successful sales
• Basic understanding of MS Office
• Exquisite presentation and negotiation skills
• Well-versed in marketing and sales techniques
• Customer-focused approach

Requirements for Leasing Consultant:

• Full-time position with regularly scheduled weekend hours.
• The ideal candidate will have previous apartment industry experience.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented, possess strong marketing and sales skills, effective communication skills, and experience with a telephone sales presentation.
• Must have good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Computer skills required
• Knowledge of Yardi and CRM software is a plus.
• Must possess a current and valid Driver’s License.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: From $24,000.00 per year
